A solid wood staircase with emergency lighting leads to all floors. The laundry contains washing machine & tumble dryer, iron and ironing board.  There is a First Aid Kit and an “oh, dear, I forgot it” pack.  There is a large bookcase in the hall containing a wide range of interesting fiction and non-fiction books as well as a selection of videos.
