The Northumberland House is a unique, individually designed stone house with a slate roof and real sash , double glazed windows. This large house is built to a demanding specification and enjoys a commanding south facing position. Some of the rooms enjoy distant sea views and others look out over rolling countryside. There is an easy walk to Sugar Sands Beach, a closely guarded local secret, which is not sign-posted. The Northumberland House style is decidedly ‘unstuffy’ with many contemporary features and luxurious touches. For example, each bedroom and en-suite has an individual feel and they are equipped to a very high standard with powerful showers. It is a great place for friends or families who appreciate something out of the ordinary and perfect for those special occasions.

This spectacular house incorporates some modern techniques, materials and technologies. It is heated on the first two stone floors by under-floor heating, with individual temperature control in all rooms. An eco-friendly heat recovery system provides heated fresh air to all floors. Please feel free to have a go with the central vacuum system! The house is designed to be low in allergens and therefore pets and smoking are not allowed. It is also very safety conscious with a sophisticated fire & smoke detection system complimented by fire doors and smoke seals to all rooms. There is an emergency lighting system on the stairs, a burglar alarm and automatic outside security lighting. Most rooms have a flexible lighting system incorporating, table lamps and dimmers.
